The Fort at No. 4

Had a great field trip to the Fort at No. 4 in New Hampshire. The kids loved being able to cook their supper and breakfast in a 17th c. kitchen. The staff at the fort was excellent - the kids were busy the whole time - gardening, carrying wood, learning to march in line as part of our militia, cooking. Even though the night was quite chilly and the floor was awfully hard for parents, we had a great time.
